Mongolia: Symposium on Religious Freedom

LOCATION: The Corporate Hotel, 9-2 Chinggis Avenue, Sukhbaatar District-1, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

SUMMARY: Experts from Russia, the United States, and Mongolia—including representatives from various religions—will cover topics on religious freedom and human rights. Located between China and Russia, Mongolia has maintained a good level of religious freedom for all, but problems about recognition of churches still exist.

Seoul Religious Freedom Forum & Festival

LOCATION: Sahmyook University, 26-21, Gongneung 2-dong Nowon-gu Seoul 139-742 Republic of Korea

SUMMARY: Experts from the United States and Korea will give lectures and debate on the theme of Religious Freedom and Human Rights at the Forum on Religious Freedom. Representatives from Buddhism and Christianity will be part of the program. The Festival will feature a concert interspersed with short reports on religious freedom around the world.

Bogota, Colombia: Festival of Religious Freedom

SUMMARY: More than 15,000 people are expected at this joyful Festival of Religious Freedom. The program will include short reports on religious freedom and a concert put on by singers, choirs, and other musicians. It will be the largest celebration of religious freedom ever to take place in Colombia.
