Bettina Krause, Director of Government Affairs

Bettina Krause represents the IRLA in Washington, D.C.—on Capitol Hill, at the White House, and among Washington’s diplomatic corps. She holds a law degree with first class honors from Macquarie University, Australia. Previous positions include Legislative Liaison for the Council on Religious Freedom, director of Adventist News Network, Media Relations Director for the General Conference communication department, and host of the Hope Channel television program, Intersection: Your Faith, Your World. Ms. Krause also served for nine years as special assistant to Jan Paulsen, president of the Seventh-day Adventist world church, with responsibility for protocol, media, and communication.
